Grady Nouis: Conservative Christian, small business owner, gun owner, family man

It’s time for a new generation of leadership that will uphold your Constitutional Rights.

My name is Grady Nouis and I am privileged to be your Republican State Representative candidate for Colorado House District 48 in Weld County. I stand with the conviction that government should operate on limited power from the consent of the governed.

Born in Fargo, North Dakota I spent most of my life growing up just outside of Flint, Michigan. I completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from St. Cloud State’s nationally accredited Herberger School of Business in Minnesota in 2008. After working a handful of years in sales and marketing jobs at some of the highest volume motorsports companies in the country, I started my own successful special effects company. For the past decade I traveled across North America and Europe providing laser light shows for concert artists of all different genres. I now spend my time working for a utility services company out of Weld County working as a horizontal drilling locator and small equipment operator. My amazing wife Kelly operates her own furniture painting company.

December of 2012 my wife and I moved to Colorado in hopes of achieving the American dream as we were looking for better job opportunities.  Here we started our family and I am the proud father of my 5 year old son, Gareth, and my beautiful 3 year old daughter Evelyn. I have actively participated in community BBQ’s, Colorado free speech events, speaking at city council, and working to elect good Republicans.

In 2018 I ran in what some would say was one of the most competitive house race campaigns in Colorado in an attempt to take a seat away from the Democrat majority. Unfortunately, I came up short, but carrying the honor of being the Republican nominee in House District 29 in Jefferson County is something I will take forward with me for the rest of my life. I will carry the same positive message forward into 2020 that I stood by in 2018. I will not waver to bureaucratic special interest groups.

My Loves: American History, Colorado Rockies, BBQ, poker, snowmobiling, free speech, supporting veterans events, baseball card trading, living in Colorado, duathlon training, and watching my two children grow up
